Les is currently playing with the Tannahills for the second time - he was a
member back in the early 1980's (for the recording of Tannahill Weavers IV). He
plays guitar, bouzouki, keyboards, and bass pedals. He sings both lead and
harmony vocals, and is the Tannahills Harmony Wizard at doing vocal
arrangements. He also writes loads of songs, mainly in the contemporary style
associated with (his hero) Gerry Rafferty. Les has studied electronics and
speaks fluent German.
